Biography

Raúl Vállez is a Composer and pianist. Studied in the Professional Conservatory of Music in Sabadell (Barcelona). He get involved in musical groups as Txibeka Sound (salsa, pop, rock, reggae), Peyote (rock, rock&roll), Soulboys (soul) and Salsabor (varied music)

In 2013 finished a Master degree in Composition of Soundtracks and Music for Audiovisual Media in ESMUC (Catalonia College of Music). Attended to lectures leaded by important film industry composers such Arnau Bataller, Lluis Vergés, Xavier Capellas, Oscar Araujo, Alfons Conde, Albert Guinovart, Xavier Ibáñez, Joaquin Rabaseda or Eduard Resina. Finished his final dissertation with a music composition for the short movie "The Faucet", directed by Denis Rovira. The music was recorded in Kiev and performed by the The Kyiv Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Alla Kulbaba

Also has studies of "Music Production" by the Berkeley College and attended to "Music composition for theatre" classes taught by Joan Vives and Joan Lluis Bozzo in the SGAE building in Barcelona
